As part of the Government of Western Australia’s Carbon Innovation Grants Program Round 2 administered by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, the grant supports projects that reduce, remove or offset industrial emissions and enable the transition to net zero.

For AFB, the funding will support a feasibility study into establishing a megawatt-scale vanadium flow battery manufacturing facility in Western Australia, progressing local energy-storage innovation and supporting decarbonisation of industrial energy use.

AFB acknowledges the support of the Government of Western Australia in backing advanced energy technologies and locally driven solutions for emissions reduction.
